A lot of things have happened since the last post on the blog, so below follows a small recap.
During the summer of 2016, I spent my time in Sweden undertaking an internship at the Nordic corporate bank SEB as a Summer Analyst within Credit Research. After finishing my undergraduate degree exams, I went to Japan to visit my girlfriend’s hometown Sendai.
During my brief 11 days in Japan, I got to experience so many different sites in Japan and challenge my taste buds by eating dishes I have never heard of before coming to Japan. It was a real pleasure spending time in Japan and I can warmly recommend Japan a visit.
My time in Japan, was spent around Sendai as well as two visits to Tokyo and spending a night at a traditional Japanese hotel which was a truly unique experience.
After visiting Japan, me and Yori went directly to Sweden to commence our internships for the summer, me at SEB and Yori at the Karolinska Institutet.
After finishing my internship at SEB I headed back to my hometown Falun to spend two weeks relaxing and training prior to commencing my Masters studies at Cambridge University.
During the summer we also had time to, visit Norway and Denmark - some beautiful nature and great food!
Now it is the second week of studying at Cambridge. I have been keeping myself busy doing trials for the university teams for swimming and running club. I am looking forward to training with the talented and dedicated team members of the university.
Here is some photos from the summer and begining of the term in Cambride :)
I hope to update you about my time in Cambridge more frequently!
