This weekend I ran the Cambridge Half Marathon in a freezing temperature and finished 3rd on 1 hour and 11 minutes. I felt really comfortable and strong during the first 10 kilometers of the race. Passing 11 kilometers my pace gradually began to fall and I lost momentum. The last 5 kilometers of the race were really slow, I lost all momentum and had a hard time keeping a decent pace. Despite this I am very happy with the time and the race I did especially as 21 kilometers really isn’t my cup of tea. Ill be back next year in the first place.
