Last weekend in the UK was spent with Yori (girlfriend) enjoying a Swedish Christmas dinner consisting of meatballs with potatoes and "brunsås". We also enjoyed some local pastries alongside some Swedish style tea.
Tomorrow, I am flying back to Sweden where I intend to do some alternative training for triathlon i.e enjoying some cross-country skiing and running on the frozen lakes :).

This weekend, my training was done in Cambridge. I find that Cambridge is a very inspirational environment to do the running training in, because its magnificent historical architecture, cobbled streets and unique, mysterious atmosphere make the running running pathways challenging yet exciting. I did two running sessions, one of them in "fartlek" (varied speed throughout the run), and the other one in a medium comfortable pace.
After a few months in the UK, I am soon heading back to Sweden to celebrate Christmas with my family. The days have been flying by in the UK because there are always a lot of studying to do, and I kept myself but with applications for Masters degrees and networking events with potential employers.
The UK has been really warm this season (compare to where I am from!), but despite this, I was able to prepare myself for going back to Sweden with some ice-skating. Being a triathlon geek and loving coffee are interrelated. I practices several sessions a day, and in a tired state after those sessions, coffee is an important part of my preparation process. I usually drink 2 to 3 coffees per day, especially before an important training session.
